About: Restaurant/shop Information
This restaurant has a strong connection with Aizu. The current owner, who was the head chef during the time of its foundation, took over ownership of the establishment. The authentic kaiseki restaurant continues to purchase and supply the best seasonal Aizu’s vegetables, horsemeat, local sake, and the like. Upon request, courses including Aizu cuisine are provided. This locale is perfect for business negotiations, meetings, auspicious occasions, etc. It is full of the restaurant’s original home products.
After the Great East Japan Earthquake, harmful rumors influenced Okiagari Koboshi, which had no choice to change its ingredients. However, cherishing communications with Aizu producers, the current owner visits the prefecture in order to purchase superior ingredients. This restaurant is proud of its cuisine that uses selected prefectural ingredients.
