About: Restaurant/shop Information
Freshly polished and cooked, hot rice relaxes customers. A woman from Hirata Village manages this restaurant. After the Great East Japan Earthquake, she decided to support her hometown Fukushima and opened Yukimisake. Seasonal homemade banzai (Kyoto-style home cooking) and fresh seafood are supplied at a reasonable price. It is a rare restaurant that allows Wakashimizu Syuzo to be appreciated in Tokyo.
[Interviewer comments]
This is the first restaurant to head to when customers are famished and hungry. The sake lineup is unique and fun. As a side dish of freshly polished just-cooked rice made in Furudono-machi, “tamago no gjyu-gjyu” (with raw eggs) from the owner’s home should be enjoyed.
