About: Restaurant/shop Information
The long-established store from Iwaki City known for sophisticated dried fish products opened a branch in Ginza in 2016. Fish processed through a unique manufacturing method has been used at renowned stores throughout Tokyo. On March 12, 2018, a new store commenced its operations. The floor space became wider and a la carte menus in addition to course menus have been enhanced at night. Ginza Bansuke continues to bring “tasty Fukushma” to Ginza.
[Interviewer comments]
Dried fish products at this long-established store can be used for seasonal greetings, celebratory and congratulatory occasions, as well as at home. The reason why its branch was opened in Tokyo was to allow people in the metropolitan areas and nationwide to learn about Bansuke. The owner says, “The most important thing is to develop our family business regardless of the situation in afflicted areas, instead of working for revitalization in Fukushima.” The owner’s remarks carry considerable weight.
