About: Restaurant/shop Information
The word “Goshiki” in Goshiki Ichigayaten comes from the “Goshikinuma,” or “Five Colored Marshes”. The owner is from Fukushima City, the chief chef is from Soma City, and the general manager is full of the zest that shows his city of origin to be Fukushima. They meet with producers based in Fukushima, to gain a deep understanding of their products and their origins, which is reflected on their menu. The restaurant allows you to experience the rare “Soma Milky Egg.” On Saturdays and national holidays, the focus shifts from a drinking-oriented nomiya to a family eatery.
[Interviewer comments]
Once I stated eating leak shabu produced from Soma City made with its special broth that draws out the flavor of the ingredients, I could not stop. If you love tamago-kake-gohan (rice with raw-egg topping), I absolutely recommend that you eat the paring of Aizu Koshihikari (a brand of rice) from Aizumisato Town fresh from the pot with “Soma Milky Egg” from Soma City.
