About: Restaurant/shop Information
The restaurant is proud of its own homemade noodles using buckwheat flour from Kobaya Mills located in Nihonmatsu City. Customers can enjoy enriched flavor and its distinctive chewiness. There are plenty of types of side dishes that are suitable for sake, and items based on soba soup are exquisite. Therefore, customers tend to drink a lot. A female customer on her own can visit this place safely and with a relaxed feeling. Cuisines and high‐quality sake that cannot be tasted in other Chohjuan eateries can be easily appreciated.
[Interviewer comments]
All dishes cooked by the chief chef who trained at a Japanese restaurant are exquisite. There are so many choices of shiny soba and fragrant bowls of rice with toppings that customers often visit this place repeatedly. A favorite is the “one-coin” seiro soba can be bought with a single coin and allows customers to eat at the end after they have sufficiently enjoyed side dishes and Japanese sake. When I asked the restaurant owner the reason why Fukushima products are used, the answer came quickly—because they are tasty!
