What is “MIDETTE?”

”MIDETTE”―dialect of Fukushima.
This is a word to draw attention of people, meaning: “Stop by and take a look at this.”
There are people in Fukushima who are proud of local communities and try to protect the food and culture of Fukushima.

MIDETTE aims to convey the current status and attractiveness of Fukushima to visitors through communication and warm hospitality.

Visitors can buy the high‐quality sake from Fukushima that won the highest number of Gold Prize for seven years consecutively at the Annual Japan Sake Awards 2018 in Tokyo.
